Parent-Child Home Program
The Parent-Child Home Program works with parents and their two and three-year-old children in one-on-one home visits to help parents prepare their children for school success.
What is the Parent-Child Home Program?
The Parent-Child Home Program provides your child with a free high-quality book and education toy each week - at least 46 new books and toys!
A trained community-based home visitor will come to your home twice a week for 30 minutes to help you get your child ready for school success.
We serve children and families in Seattle and South King County. We specialize in serving Native American and African American families.
Did you know .....
parent involvement is the number one predictor of early literacy success. Children learn best through play. Reading and talking with your child helps prepare him or her to succeed in school. Your home is your child's first classroom.
We envision a world where every child enters school ready to succeed because every parent has the knowledge and resources to build school readiness where it starts; at home.
You will learn creative ways to read and play with your child.
It helps you prepare your child to be successful in home and school.
